Mama's Boracay Restaurant
Just ten minutes away from white beach right across Grand Vista, away from the busy crowd, Mama’s Restaurant gives out a cozy ‘homey’ feel unique to this island. Great ambiance, relaxing feel of the place, combine it with beers at only 35 Pesos you will find yourself at home. And if you prefer something classy, great tasting wines such as Marques de Caceres can be savored throughout the night. For someone who has a culinary adventure, you may even try out Austrian Schnapps.
The main reason you would like to come to Mama’s are the Austrian/German dishes that are served every day in large portions just as the way Europeans like it. All ingredients are all from Austria (including the Schnapps of course) and are cooked like your Mama does it at home. For any newcomers, having the Goulasch, Schnitzl, Rindsrouladen, or the Cevapcici is a must then finish it off with Underberg making your stomach in Nirvana bliss. New special dishes are also added to the menu, as a way to add to the culinary excitement.
Food and drinks aside, Mama’s restaurant also hosts a great deal of relaxing atmosphere that can turn strangers into friends. The quiet location in Yapak makes it all perfect. Large open-door space at the ground floor good for hanging out and just chill and optionally, you can bring your iTouch or iPhone or laptop and connect online via a free wifi or disconnect from the online world and just hang out on the chill out lounge at the second which is perfect for laying down on your back and have karaoke and be with a group of friends.
Ten minutes is worth the trouble, considering that even the island’s top hotel chefs do come here to take a break after a long day’s work. This should be something to satisfy your curiosity on a restaurant that is situated away from the Boracay’s busy central.
